The Bluechip process
1. We get to know you
Everything starts with a simple conversation. Whether over the phone or a face-to-face meeting, we will get to understand why type of mortgage or financial product you are looking for and for which type or property or project. You'll need to share some personal information with us about your financial circumstances, employment status and how much you're looking to borrow and we'll explain our clear fee structure, which is typically a one-off payment of £ 495.
2. We research the market for you
We will then assess your circumstances and goals to research a comprehensive range of lenders to try and find a solution that aligns with your situation. We will then be in a position to recommend loans based upon your affordability and suitability criteria. You can then decide whether you would like us to act on your behalf to process your application for a mortgage with the right lender who offers the right terms for you.
3. We gather all the information we need from you
At this point, it's all systems go. We'll issue you with a more detailed Key Facts Illustration document that you'll need to complete and advise you of evidence that we'll need to provide to the lender. This is usually proof of your identification, income, existing address and employment status.
4. We process the application for you
Once we've found the most suitable product for you, we will formally process the mortgage application and you can sit back and relax while we handle everything from providing the lender with the right documentation to arranging surveys and valuations.If you haven't yet found the right property or a vendor requires you to prove that you will be able to get the funds to proceed with the purchase before accepting your offer, we can apply for a mortgage in principle. This is basically confirmation from the lender that you are likely to get approved for a mortgage subject to you providing the necessary paperwork and a satisfactory survey and valuation being done.
5. We keep you informed at every stage
Along the way, we'll be in constant contact with you and the lender, making sure the process is as smooth as possible. Should any issues arise, such as the lender requiring additional information or the survey unveiling a problem with the property, we'll let you know and come up with the best solution to overcome any hurdles. 6. We receive your mortgage offer
As soon as we've received the mortgage offer, we make our favourite type of calls to give you the great news that your application has been approved. If it's a remortgage, then we'll inform you of your first payment date with the new lender or on your new product.
7. Protecting you for the future
During your mortgage application process, we'll work with you to determine what your protection needs are to ensure that enjoying your new home isn't a threat because of illness or the death of either you or your Partner. This is an additional service we provide and it's optional but we think an essential part of making sure that you and your loved ones have a secure financial future.

However, if we are confident that we can find you a better deal, then we charge a one-off competitive fee to research the entire market and secure the right lender and the right product for you.
